TERMS AND INFO ABOUT BUYING A PUPPY
Mission Statement: To breed beautiful, sound dogs with good
temperaments who will make excellent pets.

We spend the first eight weeks with each puppy. providing love, care
and learning experiences which prepare the puppy to make a smooth
transition from our home into yours.

We recommend crate training as the fastest way to house train your
puppy. Puppies need a place to identify as their own little den, and a
crate is the best den you can provide. It keeps your puppy safe and
feeling secure.

We offer shipping by air for a fee of $275-$300. We ship out of
Louisville, KY or Nashville, TN. The fee covers the airfare, crate, vet
exam and health certificate. We have never had a report of a stressed
puppy. We provide airline insurance for the purchase price of the puppy
for no extra charge, and we never charge for travel to the airport.
Our vets perform all of our medical care. We feel better if our
puppies are under their watchful eyes. When the puppies leave here
they have had their first vaccinations, have been dewormed, and
have been examined, carried around, given treats, kissed and
pampered by the staff at our vet hospital. They actually have a
positive attitude about going to the vet!
We offer a one year health guarantee which states that you are
buying a sound puppy free of genetic defects. It covers eyes, hips,
and any other inherited problem which would impact the puppy's
lifespan or ability to be a great pet.
It is impossible to guarantee adult size. We can project adult size
based on birth weight and weight at time of sale, but it is an
educated guess!

Aussies, like many herding breeds and other breeds as well, can inherit a
mutant gene which predisposes them to toxicity to certain drugs, i.e.,
ivermectin (wormer,) Immodium(antidiarrheal,) and acepromazine
(tranquilizer,) among others. These drugs can pose serious risk to dogs
who possess the mutation. Please read up on the "MDR1 mutation" on the
WSU Veterinary College website. ALL OF OUR DOGS ARE TESTED AND ARE
NORMAL/NORMAL FOR MDR1.
